Excellent knowledge of low level protocols on both technologies – well done.
You could use Multicast features of LoRaWAN to broadcast over groups of devices to improve the latency even more.

I was looking to use the functionality of LoRaWAN, eventually I would like to do the Multicast towards the groups. I was looking into implementing it into the project, but would love to take that idea on.
